Candle Light
See the candles, see how it plays
with a bright yellow glow on the top
and a shadow cast beneath it's surface
kindling warmth burning steadily in your heart.
On birthday cakes and on romantic dates
candles always have their special place
bonding hearts into a tight love knot
they play the cupid perfect to the dot.
The soft flame, with a touch of gold
gives birth to love, that is soft and bold
together they turn this world into a mystiq-land
which is far reaching and profound.
It melts, sacrifising its body, heart and soul
in life's nosiest hours, they play their role
sparking the desires and lead you through the road
to find all that you've been bestowed.
