About Me
Dedicated to my cousins
I miss regular interactions and all the fun we used to have. I miss each one of you - keshava, chandu, ashwini, venu anna, anantha anna, kitty akka. time has played its wicked games and we can no longer make it at one place at the same time for long but i guess we got to be glad for atleast having this much left between us.
I remember the golden times
called the childhood, which i shared with all of you.
The times when I would get to bangalore
just to be with you n' we would laugh, play and mess up.
Those days when we would run to the terrace
and talk n' talk about nothing all day long.
when we would go for the morning walk
because we would get to eat idli's on the way along.
sleeping in the hall on the floor
and watching tv till everyone would snore.
playing stupid games and climbing trees
in order to pluck flowers and berries.
going to the field to play, swinging in turns
sliding side by side, and playing badminton.
roaming in 4th block complex with mom
like there was never a tomorrow.
celebrating festivals, doing all the traditional chores
and going to everyone's home like it was a tour.
wearing new clothes, stuffing sweets and smiling all the while,
playing pranks and acting innocent was our style.
how i miss all those days, wish they could come back again
if only meeting up together wasn't such a strain.
we could have loads of fun together remembering
all that we once did, we were such brat's yet so plain.
